Police Abuse
- Law Enforcement Review Agency
- Winnipeg Copwatch
When a complaint alleging police misconduct does occur, procedures established under The Law Enforcement Review Act (LERA) are followed to register, investigate and to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed to a public hearing concerning the complaint. At a public hearing, if a complaint is substantiated, an officer faces disciplinary action ranging from a reprimand to dismissal from the force.

- Manitoba Aboriginal Justice Equality Coalition (MAJEC)
MAJEC began its formation in May, 2005 in response to the strained relationship between Manitoba’s aboriginal people and law enforcement agencies. It has since expanded its scope to include Aboriginal over-representation in the criminal justice system. MAJEC strongly believes that potential solutions will only come from the community in addressing these difficulties. New members/volunteers are welcome.
